Last week it was warm, and my ski trail got so melty and icy, I thought the season was over. But now we're getting buckets of snow, so it's been extended! I declared a snow day for the kids:-) For some reason, not everyone shares my enthusiasm for snow in April, so I'm putting up a springy forget-me-not card, Alaska's state flower. My camera software is acting up, so I had to resort to scanning it, so the picture isn't great...The flowers are made with the organza silk screening process, see my tutorial for more info. I should have some of these on the "cards for sale" page soon, but if you want one before I get them there, send me a message on the contact page...
Also, there are a few more days to enter the drawing for a free card...scroll down to the post from April 5 for details!
Beret Nelson's On The Trail Creations Blog Page
I am a homeschooling mom of three fun kids, who are now old enough that I have a little time to pursue my passion for sewing! After several years of making quilted cards and art quilts, I'm now designing kits and patterns. Some of them have even been in Keepsake Quilting! I teach classes at local quilt shops, and am starting to do more traveling and teaching. I also have many tutorials, including some on YouTube. I am blessed to live in Alaska where I am surrounded by the inspiration provided by the beauty of God's creation!
