 In case anyone was wondering, I haven't disappeared.... I've been up to my neck in orders for my new kits, as well as doctor appointments for my recent Lyme disease diagnosis. That's a little dreadful, but such a relief to know what I'm up against and to be making progress toward recovery! My husband and I just took a quick trip to Anchorage for one appointment, and a few quilt shops along the way too, of course! We had great weather and scenery, and even a stop at Denali National Park for a night on the way home. Now it's back to work, I think I bought about 15 yards of fabric... :-)

 I'm excited to be teaching my first class at the new Folk School tomorrow, my quilted journal cover. The kids and I have also been busy making lots more card kits, much of the first batch only lasted two days! 
 The "First Friday" went well...it was the debut for my card kits and I sold more of those than finished cards, so I'm pretty excited about that :-) I also got a little dragonfly quilt finished just in time to bring along. The Material Girls quilt shop unveiled their article in Quilt Sampler (spring/summer) magazine, they have a nice several page article. If you look close, there are a few things I made or quilted in the photos :-) (page 73 and 75)
UPDATE: The kit is now available, click here!  Last reminder for the First Friday at the Material Girls quilt shop tonight, 5-9 pm! Lots of printing, cutting, and stuffing of patterns and kits going on around here today, and MAYBE even a quick mini quilt...
And my newest raven silk screen :-)  I've done several "First Fridays" around town, and this week (May 2nd, 5-9 pm) I will be doing my first one at the Material Girls quilt shop (downstairs). I'll have some new cards, plus patterns and kits, and my recent caribou quilt for sale. Stop by and say hi!
