Up until now, we have only had PayPal as a payment option on this website, but as of today, you have the option of paying with a credit card as well. And, I've been too busy to do any more reminders that the Moonlight Moose wall hanging kit is now available! My biggest bazaar is in two weeks, so I'm in the crunch time for that. I've spent so much time on kits that I'm pretty far behind on cards...It helps a lot to have my friend April helping me now! It's been a crazy week around here, after getting our giant fabric order. But we got our bazillion packages in the mail, and are caught up for the moment! So I took the opportunity to do a rare project for my own house, a table runner for my living room. (For a table that had to come downstairs to make room for fabric upstairs... :-)) But now I'm thinking it wants to be a kit/pattern too...What do you think? Do my wall hangings need a matching table runner? They lend themselves well to this design due to the gradations. I also need to find out if there would be any copyright infringement, since I didn't make up the 'braid' concept. Any help there will be appreciated also! It's been a long wait, at least in my world, but the Moonlight Moose kit is finally available! (We even have some real moonlight tonight, after our recent snowstorm... two of my kids had a barefoot race in the snow today, was that really necessary? :-)) Anyway...click on the picture for more info or to order... A whole bunch of kits are on their way to the Houston Quilt Market/Festival, they will be in the Starr Design Fabrics booth, number 316 if you are going! I wish I was, maybe next year :-) Now that we have lots of fabric, it's time to get stocked up on kits, then it's on to card making for the bazaar in one month! And then to work on some more wall quilt designs, these are so much fun :-) Time to start packing, hopefully the Moonlight Moose will be up on the website sometime this weekend! Also packing a big box (or several) to go to Houston! And, for those of you with big fabric stashes, this is what 500 yards looks like...:-) Amazingly small, actually... In my "spare time" this week, I've also been working on a small quilt for a donation to an auction for Camp LiWa, where two of my kids spent quite a bit of time this summer! Maybe I will revise it and make it into a kit, it's somewhere on the big list I can't get to yet :-) I had quilted the lighter green background with matching thread, and decided I didn't like that because it didn't show up very well, so I did it again with a different pattern and darker thread, over the top of the first layer, I don't think I've done that before! And in the photo, it still barely shows up... Now, off to the mailbox to see if there's a package slip for the remaining 6 boxes of Starr Fabrics. The Moonlight Moose kit should be up in a couple of days!
We got a batch of Autumn Leaves kits packed up yesterday, today we're working on dragonflies. No moose fabric, it was back ordered but is finally on its way and should be here this weekend! Along with tons of other fabric, hopefully we can get ahead this time! (looks like I need to do something about the wrinkles on the yellow batik...:-) )
