![]() We finally got all of the video tutorials done for the two new kits, Serenity and Moonshadows. I may still tweak a couple of them, but we wanted to get some up before my geek squad went to camp for the summer! They are under the tutorials tab, or click on the photos below. I also made a quick and easy little wall quilt just for fun recently, it is for sale in my shop. I don't make myself do enough of that lately! I used pretty much the same method as my journal cover tutorial, which is also under the tutorials tab. It's very quick and simple for when you don't have a lot of time to make something. Click on the photos below to go to the page with the video tutorials. Click the photo below to see the rest of our kits and patterns!

![]() I have gotten quite a few new cards made lately, but not too many pictures up yet! I need a secretary :-) Yesterday I spent way too much time making 5 tiny wonky log cabin blocks. I tried several methods, until I came up with a fairly easy one. I will try to do a tutorial if I get time, it was fun! I surrounded them with some blueberry fabric to finish the card. A week ago today we got the surprising and sad news that Sharon Blackwell, the owner of the Material Girls quilt store next to my shop, and also my landlord and my daughter's employer, passed away due to a sudden illness. Our prayers are with her husband Jonnie and all who knew her, she has definitely had an impact on the quilting community in our area and will be missed! These two kits are finally ready for purchase! For the first week, until Friday, May 13 at midnight AK time, if you order one of these kits, you can choose a free card pattern of your choice too, either print or download version, whichever you prefer. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] letting me know which card pattern you would like. (A couple of them are only available in kit form, those are not eligible) Click the photos for more information or to order, and happy sewing! They are both $59, they are a little bigger than our previous wall hangings. We are working on some video tutorials to go with them, hopefully those will be up very soon! The patterns refer to them, but they are not there quite yet...
