Guess when the Fairbanks snow will meltTime for another contest! When will our neighbor's snowpile melt? The moose is for scale, I will try to post a new picture each week. The first person to guess the right day will get a kit of their choice. If any other people guess the right day also, they will each get a card kit of their choice. Guesses have to be in by April 15th. Here is some information to help: 1. We may still get more snow 😊 2. The latest I remember this pile lasting is June 6th. I think normally it's more like mid-May. It's not the biggest, but I think the shadiest and usually last to go on our road. And it is bigger than normal! 3. The size isn't the only factor... sometimes it warms up early (a couple of years ago the leaves opened on April 30th, usually second week of May) and sometimes not (a few years ago we had snow on May 20th, and May 27th it was 75 degrees. Spring was on a Wednesday that year! 😂) Comment below, in our VIP facebook group, or email ([email protected]) to make a guess!
