Goodness, where do I start...
First of all, three new patterns, and four patterns now in kit form! The new patterns are Whale Tale, a new Raven, and Moose with Willows. Since these patterns call for lots of small pieces, rounding them all up would be a challenge if you don't have tons of fabric leftovers like I do...so the three new patterns plus the Chickadee with Berries are now available as kits containing everything you need! The new moose and raven are ONLY available as kits, because they are made with a silk screen print, which is included in the kit.
Next thing, ALL of my patterns are now available in print form to everyone, not just quilt shops. Since quilters are tactile people, they seem to prefer them in this form, I sell a lot more this way even though they cost more....at least now you can choose! Each pattern has 1-3 options listed below the picture, so you can get what you want.
And for now, free shipping on everything!
And, last, but not least, I will be at the Material Girls quilt shop this week for a First Friday evening, I think from 5-9 pm. I'll probably do another post about that soon, but I thought I'd put it in here too. I'll have some new cards, patterns, and kits, plus my caribou quilt. I'll have my recent water lily quilt there too, but not for sale, someone beat you to it! And find out what the shop has been waiting to unveil....details to come, I'm sure!
I had to get back to card making. so I made some birch trees and a couple of new silk screens for my entertainment :-) I think the bear might be a little too tall and skinny, changing that is just a matter of how I cut them out next time...
The real swans are back, I finally saw a few last night! I've seen geese too, but no cranes yet. The snow is melting fast though, they should be here soon!
Also coming soon, new patterns and even some kits!
I finally got to make something other than cards! I need a better picture, it's too sunny out here today :-) Looking at a photo of my quilts is a good way to find where it can be improved...the caribou needed a bit more contrast, my usual problem... I like this style though, since I'd much rather make fun backgrounds than foregrounds, this way it's mostly background :-)
Now back to cards...
update: it got cloudy so I took another picture, the caribou is slightly better, but the colors are not... :-) I need one of my kids to learn more about photography! :-)

I am a homeschooling mom of three fun kids, who are now old enough that I have a little time to pursue my passion for sewing! After several years of making quilted cards and art quilts, I'm now designing kits and patterns. Some of them have even been in Keepsake Quilting! I teach classes at local quilt shops, and would love to do more traveling and teaching eventually. I also have many tutorials, including some on YouTube. I am blessed to live in Alaska where I am surrounded by the inspiration provided by the beauty of God's creation!
