 This is a scrapbook cover I made recently for a baby shower gift. I used mostly fabrics left over from making Moonlight Moose kits, (wall hanging and table runner) so it was pretty easy, just a modification of that design. If you have one of these patterns, it would not be very hard to combine that with my online journal cover tutorial. The directions show you how to make it fit any size book. I finally got around to doing some screen prints, and I went a little crazy! It might be time to do a card kit sale :-) In the meantime, there are only 5 days left on the wall hanging kit sale, $29 each for the rest of the month!
These three wall hanging kits $29 for the rest of the month. They contain everything you need but thread!  And here is where all those screen prints are going! These kits also contain everything you need, right down to the envelope to put your card in when it is finished!   I think I have put this needle organizer up before, but not for a long time, and it is so helpful! The first four bands represent 4 sizes of sewing machine needles, 10/70, 12/80, 14/90. and 16/100. That way I can switch them out without having to read the tiny numbers. I think needles are color coded now, or going to be? But I don't know the code yet... And I still have a bunch of non color coded needles. The other two are for hand and beading needles. I stick a pin in the band for the size that is in the machine, so I always know. I don't have a way of differentiating between types yet, but I mostly use Microtex and topstitching, and I can tell those apart by looking at them, the topstitching needles have a longer eye. I use those for metallic threads, they seem to work well for me. And, don't forget our Leap Year sale, $29 wall hanging kits for the month of February! Click on 'Store' above to get to each kit.  I have been wanting forever to get some video tutorials up on my website. We did one a few weeks ago, and now we have two more. So far they all go with the Summer Dragonfly kits.
