Description
This kit contains everything you need including beautiful hand dyed fabrics from Starr Design Fabrics, fusible web, and even backing fabric! All you add is batting and thread. Having all this in the kit saves you time and money. Less running around to get supplies means you can get right to sewing. The free motion stitching does add a lot to the finished table runner, but it is not necessary. The decorative stitches also add a lot, but it can be done without those as well. It's a fairly quick and very fun project! For thread, I used yellow, gold, a dark and a light purple. This table runner is a complement to our first kit (Summer Dragonfly Wall Hanging Quilt), and was basically inspired by playing with a bunch of hand dyed Starr Fabrics sample packs. We have hordes of mosquitoes here in Alaska, so we also have lots of dragonflies – which we much prefer.
