Well, we finally got a couple of days of low temps above 0, but today we have an inch of fresh snow! Spring doesn't want to come this year.... But I have some bright colors and springy flowers for you anyway! In a hurry this morning, but I wanted to get these posted.... Playing with Inktense pencils some more, and another iris greeting card, this time using applique. Coming soon is one about how to bind and finish any quilted greeting card. Happy Sewing!
And click the photo below to see all of our kits and patterns!
Spring is definitely NOT coming to Fairbanks yet this year, so we are having a sale on our springy Serenity kits until it does! Our average low temperature for the first 18 days of the month has been -26 degrees! So the Serenity kits will be $48 (reg. $59) from now until we have an official LOW temperature that is ABOVE 0!
Also, we have a new video tutorial up on our You Tube channel, for an Inktense and thread painted iris. I usually turn them into quilted greeting cards, but it could also be a quilt block, potholder, wall hanging, journal cover, use your imagination, and send me a picture if you do it! As always, feel free to 'pin', comment, like, share, subscribe, all of that stuff really helps us. And remember to check out our new pillow cover patterns on the store page too! Happy sewing, and I hope it's spring where you are! One of my greatest passions is getting people to do more creating, whether it is getting started, or moving to another level. I have some pretty big possibilities in the works, but for now I have two new patterns. They are really the same pattern, but I packaged them separately so the beginner version doesn't have a bunch of overwhelming extra options. The kit for this one is a little less expensive, since it does not have hand dyed fabrics, applique fabric, or extra instructions. They fit a 14" pillow form, which you can purchase, but the pattern also includes instructions to make one.' Happy sewing! Beret
