Just in time for spring, although it's not looking much like spring yet here, a Wild Iris greeting card pattern. This would be a great Mother's Day, sympathy, or just because card. I'm still working on good ways to add words to the front of cards, feel free to give me suggestions!
This is available in both printed and download form, it may be a kit eventually too. And we already have a video tutorial to go with it as well, click the tutorials tab on the menu. Happy spring, and happy sewing! I'll put some of our other springy designs in too!

You know all those decorative stitches on your machine that you never use? That's one of the things I love about our designs, it gives you an excuse to use them! And if you don't have them, that's ok too, if you just use a narrow zig zag it still looks nice thanks to the amazing Starr Designs hand dyed fabrics. But it is fun to have a reason to use those stitches! If you have them, do you ever use them? Click the photo to see our kits and patterns:
We decided to have a sale on our bigger kits that have green in them, in honor of St Patrick's Day. Now through Sunday night, these 6 kits are 30% off! Also, make sure you join our new On the Trail Creations VIP group! If you post a picture of a project you made using one of our kits or patterns, we will send you a free digital pattern of your choice.* Several people have already posted theirs, check them out :-) We hope to see you in the group!
https://www.facebook.com/groups/614962188849895/ *all but 4 of our designs are available in digital format. If there is no downloadable option, that one is not available. Fun paint night using Inktense pencils! We will be doing more of those!
We also created a new facebook group to have more interaction. I want to see what you are doing too! Through Sunday night, anyone who joins the group and comnents on the contest post in the group will be entered to win a kit and a pattern. There are three combos to choose from. We hope to see you there! https://www.facebook.com/groups/614962188849895/ Is it spring where you are? It's definitely not here yet! But that's ok, because March is my favorite month in Alaska. The sun is back, and we have plenty of snow for skiing! The lake I ski on is brighter than any beach when it's sunny out :-)
On the quilting front, I'm very excited to announce that we have created an On the Trail Creations VIP facebook group. I love to see what YOU are doing, and have more interaction, and a group seems to work better than other formats. SO....... hop on over and join our group! I will probably start using that more than my facebook page to post updates, tutorials, and ideas. And if YOU post a photo of something you have made from one of our patterns, kits, or tutorials, we will send you a free downloadable pattern of your choice:-) Click the photo below to go to the group; I'm looking forward to seeing you there!
