I have gotten quite a few new cards made lately, but not too many pictures up yet! I need a secretary :-) Yesterday I spent way too much time making 5 tiny wonky log cabin blocks. I tried several methods, until I came up with a fairly easy one. I will try to do a tutorial if I get time, it was fun! I surrounded them with some blueberry fabric to finish the card. A week ago today we got the surprising and sad news that Sharon Blackwell, the owner of the Material Girls quilt store next to my shop, and also my landlord and my daughter's employer, passed away due to a sudden illness. Our prayers are with her husband Jonnie and all who knew her, she has definitely had an impact on the quilting community in our area and will be missed!
