Shop/studio open House October 9th!

I have been pretty quiet on here lately, too busy getting ready for the open house for my shop! It is going to be on Friday, October 9, from 5-8 pm. Local people, it is located at 3055 College Rd, right next door to the Material Girls quilt shop. You will be able to see our new home, and find out all the different things that will be happening there, I can't wait to get going!

I have not been doing much sewing, partly because my stuff is currently spread between home and the shop. But last weekend my mom needed an emergency bag made for one of her carved puzzles. I scavenged what was left at home, which turned out to be quite a challenge, and came up with this quick bag. (And eventually I should have some of her carvings in the retail section of my shop!)

Also, the fall sale ends at the end of the month, only a few days left! Fall is about done here too, winter storm watch for tomorrow!!

I am a homeschooling mom of three fun kids, who are now old enough that I have a little time to pursue my passion for sewing!
