At a recent class, a student was frustrated with how wobbly her free motion stitching was, so she asked for help. It turned out she had the machine set on zig zag, it wasn't her shaky hands! But it actually looked kind of cool, so when I got home I had to try it!
We are finally getting some rain, at least here, which is a welcome relief. It seems the whole state is on fire, lots of smoke this week. Luckily the basement of our new shop, where we pack kits, is cool and smoke free, we have spent a lot of time there!

I really like the look of that. Did it take a lot longer to do it that way?

Neat look. Was it also harder to move/slide the quilt during the FMQ?
