Personally, I think the Starr Fabrics are what make these designs. :-) But, I know there are quilters out there with stashes to use, or who would like these in different colors. so they are finally now available in pattern only versions, they are $12 each. I'd love to see what you do with these with different fabrics! If you make one, send a photo to me at beret@onthetrailcreations.com, or put one up on the
On The Trail Creations facebook page. Click a photo to go to the home page with all of the designs, or hover over the kits-patterns-home tab above to go to individual ones.

For a number of years I have been making covers for journals. It began with gratitude journals but I have never found a pattern or method that is as wonderful and complete as the one Beret has complied. If you follow her directions--which are exact and fully explained, you will have a journal that fits and is not bulky. It Fits!! Thank you, Beret--I am having fun cutting up orphan blocks and sewing without seam allowances--what can be more fun.. Maybe getting new fabric!!

After several years of making quilted cards and art quilts, I'm now designing kits and patterns. Some of them have even been in Keepsake Quilting! I teach classes at local quilt shops, and am starting to do more traveling and teaching. I also have many tutorials, including some on YouTube.
