For the rest of the month of March, in honor of Seward's Day and Alaska being the 49th state, our three table runner kits are all $49! So if you got a wall hanging kit, this is a great time to get the matching table runner kit. The table runner kits contain everything you need except batting. They have the top fabrics, backing, fusible web, and muslin that works as a 'pre-backing' for quilting, since the real backing goes on after quilting. Also, another quilter, Heather Wind-Mulder, sent me a photo of a journal cover she made using my tutorial, and it turned out great! She even made some copper wire embellishments to add to it! Click on the photo to get to the tutorial. There are several photos at the end of it with variations that people have made, be sure to check it out! They are a great way to use up scraps and practice some art quilty techniques.

I am a homeschooling mom of three fun kids, who are now old enough that I have a little time to pursue my passion for sewing!
