I've been quite negligent with my blog lately....first we had company, now we're getting ready for a big trip. That involved a bunch of last minute sewing projects, which I spent today doing, along with one of my daughters. I made a sundress, a denim skirt, the last 15 of 85 cards I needed to have done (they still need to be glued to the card stock) and a nifty pocket insert for a new bag I got that didn't have enough pockets. Now it has 6 more :-) My daughter made a pillow cover, a drawstring backback/bag, and she finished a couple of owl pillows and 20 little marble bags for the kids at a family reunion. The cards were already started, and the pillow top was already made, so we had a head start on some of the things at least! I don't need too many days like that, but my 4 years of sewing at a tailor shop using a stop watch pays off occasionally!
