Here is this year's fair entry, titled "Serenity". After the fair it is going to a friend, who requested water, birch trees, iris', and a Psalm 1 theme. I just realized today that I didn't really put water in it. It occurred to me that if I added a horizon line, it would have water. So I played with it on my Brushes 3 app (free ipad app) to try it out. The first one looked too straight with all those curvy lines, so I tried another one. I will let the recipient decide if she wants it, it would show on the back at this point, but what a cool way to try something with no risk! It would work for quilting designs also.
I don't plan to make a pattern/kit for this one, too much thread sketching. Several fun ones in the works though, click here to see what patterns I do have! I just ordered a terrifying amount of Starr Fabrics, that will be lots of fun when it comes!
