I love your black capped chickadee pattern! So pretty.

If I were to suggest a new pattern it would be a Tree Swallow...lovely little birds that sometimes play with a feather floating in the air. They will catch them and then release them and then catch them again!

Those cards are so beautiful!!! My wife's birthday is tomorrow and I am looking for a present for her; she absolutely adores ravens and sewing. If I win, I would love to give her the Raven Moon pattern.
My wife is also a baker and her favorite is cupcakes. I usually give her a card with a cupcake picture on it and she would flip over getting a quilted cupcake card; that is my suggestion. Unfortunately, we live in Latvia; you should sell your cards online! :) They are amazing.

Suggestion: the icy, pastel-y days when there is a lot of ice fog (is that even doable?). If that won't work, how about a bunch of AK berries! Blue, straw, rasp, etc :)
I would LOVE the chickadeepattern-- you kniw how much Peekie adores black caps :)

I don't know if you've done watermelon before, but I love watermelon. You could even sew on little black beads for the seeds. That is my suggestion.
I don't know which pattern I want; they are all so cute. Probably the Black Capped Chickadee one. I've never seen one before, but they are my favorite bird.

Hi Beret! Love your quilts and cards! Looks like you got your Mom's artist talent! I would love to win the chickadees. My suggestion, of course, would be a moose--or two, or three or??? :) I also wish you would come and teach a class here at North House sometime when you come back to visit. This looks like fun, and now that I'm retired, I might have time to give it a try...

I'm a oceanologist and my favorite sea animals are dolphins and squid. I particularly like squid and this they are beautiful creatures. I'm a bit of an amateur sewer, and I'm sure sewing a squid would be difficult, but I would love it. I searched for a sea animal pattern, but didn't see any. The snowman one was my favorite though.

I'm an interior decorator and your works of art would be marvelous framed on any wall. Though I believe there couldn't be any more worthy designs, I, as a designer feel diamonds could be portrayed with fabric quite well.
If my suggestion is chosen, I would love the raven pattern; my great-aunt said she will make me one to frame above my mantel.

The chicadee is adorable. My cat has a different "meow" for chicadees than any other bird. I think the direct translation is "those damn birds I can't ever catch". I love dragonflies. Of course, I hear that the mosquitos in Alaska are as big as dragonflies...so that's an idea too.

Beret, I love your chickadee cards, and if I should be a lucky winner my first choice would be Raven Moon. A swallow would be my suggestion, so that I could make a card for my sister whose last name is L'Hirondelle (swallow).

I love your little chickadees! I have not been here before so I'm glad I found you and I think your cards are wonderful. To answer your questions: I would choose the chickadees and would suggest Carrots. I really don't have a good reason other than I would think it would be fun to receive a card with fabric carrots on it.

I haven't made patterns for those so far, I'd like to eventually. The chickadee ones are Kindle carriers, but I got a little discouraged from making those when the e-reader companies started making them in so many different sizes....

For my last entry, I think that a bald eagle would be neat! Even though it would be most appropriate for the Fourth of July, it could be used year round if the background was designed differently. I would love to win the Chickadee pattern.
