I am looking for opinions again... A lot of people have asked if there is a pattern or kit for this quilt. I have purposely NOT made one so far, because I am thinking the amount of thread painting on it would scare people off. I could do it as just a pattern, so there is less invested on my end. or the irises could even be optional, and it would just be the birch trees, which would make it more doable. I could even do a video tutorial for the irises on my website, I'm really hoping to get some of those up soon...This quilt also got some trees stitched in the background after the first photo was taken, that would also be optional. (Second photo, with my fair ribbon even, I couldn't find another photo of it! :-) ) What do you think?

Beautiful quilt! I think making a pattern with the more difficult steps as optional is a great idea. It might help to show a picture in the pattern of the quilt before thread painting. It might encourage someone to try something new or they may just love the simplier version.

I hope you do make this a pattern with optional thread painting. I love your patterns.
